• Connecting Points (Rivets) is filled with pure silver in following ampere switches:-

1. In 16 Amp. Switch Rivets Pure Silver contacts head diameter is 05 mm The thickness of Pure silver is 0.04mm
2. In 10 Amp. Switch Rivets Pure Silver contacts head diameter is 4.5 mm The thickness of Pure silver is 0.04mm
3. In 06 Amp. Switch Rivets Pure Silver contacts head diameter is 04 mm The thickness of Pure silver is 0.03mm

Important Tests (As per IS-3854:1997)

• As per the instructions laid down by the Bureau of Indian Standards the test of 40,000 ON-OFF operations are required by applying load of 6 Amp and 10 Amp for passes of these switches, but we are the Nirol Switches undergo 3 times (i.e. 1,20,000 ON-OFF operations) more than the laid down by rules by the ISI before marketing
